FileCatalyst Workflow and Webmail v4.9.6 released

Spring is in the air... in the spirit of all things fresh and renewed, we welcome the release of our FileCatalyst Workflow and Webmail version 4.9.6! It has been just a little over 8 months since our last update of these products (v4.9.5 came out in June 2015). So let's quickly recap what's new. This version will have many new features in Workflow and only a few bug fixes in Webmail. FileCatalyst Webmail has been obsolete since January 2015, so it should no longer be a surprise that we're limiting the scope of the releases for Webmail. We encourage everyone to upgrade to Workflow ASAP to remain up-to-date.
Don't let the minor version update fool you, v4.9.6 provides an alternative to Java Applets! The list of web browsers that don’t support or will soon stop supporting Java Applets is expanding. Now is the time to make a move and provide an alternative file transfer method in FileCatalyst Workflow. Cue TransferAgent, FileCatalyst’s latest web-based file transfer tool. TransferAgent supports our lightning fast UDP-based file transfer acceleration protocol and smoothly handles large files and complex directory structures for both uploads and downloads. Built for modern browsers using HTML5, TransferAgent doesn't require Java Applets on the user's browser. All the problems installing and running Java Applets are now gone.
We also made several improvements to other parts of the product including LDAP/Active Directory integration, form upload, JSON files can now be generated after the job submission, and PermaLinks can now take users directly to a specific Upload Form.
