A new version of U-Download is available for download. This is a recommended upgrade for existing owners of U-Download. The previous browse dialog has been replaced by one that uses native OS browse, which not only unifies look and feel with OS, but is also more efficient with memory usage.

Upgrade instructions: to upgrade, simply download the new ZIP file, extract the file "udownloadhttp.jar", and replace the one on your web server. As always, it is recommended to keep a backup in the event that you need to revert. Simply rename the old file "udownloadhttp.jar.bak" (or use the backup convention of your choice) before copying the new JAR file into place.
