How to Create and Empty Background on FileCatalyst Workflow Homepage

Overview

This is a guide on how to reset your Workflow template and create an empty background for your login page. When customizing your login page for FileCatalyst Workflow, you may notice that your fonts don't match or that they are different sizes. This occurs when the templates have been customized and certain fields have changed from the defaults. In this case, it is a good idea to reset your template.

 

Environment

FileCatalyst Workflow v4.7 and later.

FileCatalyst Webmail v4.7 and later.

 

Resolution

Reset Template:

  1. Login to FileCatalyst Workflow or Webmail as the Super Admin.
  2. Click on Modify Configuration on the top menu bar.
  3. Click on the Change Template link in the Template Setup section.
  4. Select FC Modern template from the drop down list and hit Change Template.
  5. Log out and clear your cache in your web browser. Make sure this works first.

Create a Blank White Background:

  1. Login to FileCatalyst Workflow or Webmail as the SuperUser.
  2. Click on Modify Configuration on the top menu bar.
  3. Click on the Common Style Sheet link in the Template Setup section.
  4. Edit the line before input { and after /*********************/ by inserting the following line of code:

    #headerLogo

    {
    background:white !important;
    }

  5. Hit the Save button and log out.
  6. Clear your web browser cache to make sure the settings were applied.
