Introducing FileCatalyst v3.7, the latest update to our award winning flagship product. Loaded with features, we have made file sharing even faster and easier for our user community in this version. FileCatalyst Central has seen some new additions to its usability, including a map overlay that provides users with a real-time view of their data movement and remote node configuration. Central now allows administrators to view statistics graphically on a map to quickly manage traffic and identify usage patterns.

The FileCatalyst Direct 3.7 update brings many new features to FileCatalyst TransferAgent. Users can install TransferAgent as a non-admin user on Windows. We added Linux support. TransferAgent now includes the two-way FileCatalyst Express user interface. TransferAgent may now connect to Central for remote node-to-node file transfers accessible directly from Central’s map view.

Here is a quick list of some of the new features FileCatalyst brings to the table:

  • Central “map” system overview
  • Remote administration and configuration of nodes in Central
  • TransferAgent is now a supported node in Central
  • TransferAgent two-way file transfers replace our two-way Java applet. Try a live demo of TransferAgent here
  • TransferAgent now installs as a service for constant availability
  • TransferAgent is now supported on Linux
  • Reverse proxy for DMZ deployments
